Rubber Meltdown - Demo Night

On Saturday April 4, the Calgary Eagle will host a Rubber Demo night. We will have a vac-rack demo, rubber sleepsack demo, and Gearcollector will hopefully bring out his infamous Elenas inflatable bondage ball! It should be a great night. Come on out if you can.

***Just fyi...Mr. Rubber Calgary (sponsored by Priape) has been moved to a weekend in June; we've moved the demo night from Friday April 3 to Saturday April 4 as a result.***

Date Change

Well, Priape has now officially changed the date of the Mr. Rubber Calgary contest to Friday June 5th (Which effectively puts me out of it), so that it will be held in conjunction with the Sir / Boy contest (June 6th). This also leaves the Rubber Meltdown on hold (Although I believe Reid is planning on still doing some dems on Apr 3rd if a fetish night is held at the club)

First Promo

Rubber Meltdown 2009 @ The Calgary Eagle

Well, after much consideration, we're going to name the Friday, April 3rd event at the Calgary Eagle the Rubber Meltdown. We didn't want to cross any lines by using the name of an event that the Chicago Rubbermen use, and we thought it would be fitting to name it something to celebrate the end of yet another hellish Western Canadian winter. What better way to heat things up than a hot, sexy night of studly rubbermen?

We've put our sponsorship promotion packages together, ready for sending out to propective retailers that might donate gear or god knows what else as prizes and giveaways at the Friday event. The only thing we need to do immediately is create a logo for the event...some branding that we can put on promo materials, flyers, banners, posters, etc.

If we pull off something good, maybe it'll be back again next year and become something annual we can be proud of!

Friday night will also include the introduction of contestants for the 2009 Mr. Rubber Calgary title event taking place on Saturday, April 4th at the Calgary Eagle as well.
